and Freelance Artist

Hey There
Hello! It's a pleasure to "meet" you. My name is Cheyenne Summers. To the right is a beautiful picture I took atop a hillside in Ventura, which is where I currently hail from. This website showcases my current artistic efforts and work .
About Me
Cheyenne Summers is a Marketing Coordinator at the environmental science and consulting firm Rincon Consultants Inc. She is also on the Advisory Board for the nonprofit Women of Substance & Men of Honor (WOSMOH), which gives support services and mentorship to foster youth, detention youth, and at-risk youth .
She has a bachelor's in video/digital art from Cal State Northridge and has experience with the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Her degree included instruction on graphic design, web design, motion graphics, visual effects compositing, and fine art. Cheyenne is now focusing on obtaining her master's degree in environmental engineering.
Cheyenne is a mother, an artist, and a former foster youth. She is the conservator to her severely brain damaged sister and grew up with two autistic foster brothers. She has worked closely with a non-profit in Ventura County that specializes in mentorship, job resources, and education resources for foster youth and detention youth for over a decade. She has received "Trauma Informed Training" from the County of Ventura for her work with the non-profit. Cheyenne has taught "Art as Healing" classes to probation youth within the county and advocates for youth to deal with their trauma in a healthy way and to use the arts as a healthy coping mechanism.
